Holding Many in My Heart

The passing of Eileen Patricia McMahon Zogby, a local-to-global social justice and education advocate, has punctured my writing project bubble. Ms. Zogby died too soon, as have more than 19,000 people perished from the novel coronavirus. And just as I am filled with gratitude for her good works, I am thankful to healthcare providers and researchers, many of whom have no choice but to endanger themselves and their loved ones for the greater good.
